American heavyweight boxer Joe Frazier, who famously inflicted the first defeat of Mohammed Ali, died on Monday night at the 68th year of life

A few weeks ago, doctors diagnosed liver cancer fighter, after which he was placed in hospice.

Joseph Frazier, known as "smoking 'Joe" in 1964 became an Olympic champion. In 1970, he managed to win a world title in two versions - WBC and WBA.

In March 1971, Fraser took a fight with Muhammad Ali. Beating even before its launch was unique because it came together two of the world champion in the heavyweight division - one former and one current, and both at the time did not know defeat. In the 15th round, Ali, Joe posted a spectacular left hook knocked down and won the fight. Ali was unable to forget the defeat of Joe before the end of his career.

In addition, Frazier boxing fans remember his stamina and character. In 1966, he was able to win the battle for Oscar Bonavena, despite the fact that the latter is twice sent Joe a knockdown.
